This carrier-class transcoder supports multiple cameras, networks, and devices, providing the bridge between existing camera networks and mobile subscribers. It transcodes M-JPEG camera streams into 3GPP and 3GPP2 standard, MPEG-4 video streams and Windows Media Format, compatible with mobile devices.

Stream the same live feed to GPRS, UMTS, 1X, EVDO and WiFi networks at the same time by using Multimedia Transcoder's "multiple encode per camera" feature.

For operators rolling out 3G, subscribers on both 2.5G and 3G networks can view the same live camera feed using Multimedia Transcoder's ability to encode the same feed into several different outputs optimized for different networks.

    Accommodate different types of MJPEG IP network cameras. All types can be connected simultaneously. Analog cameras can also be accommodated by adding an analog to MJPEG encoder, available from many manufacturers throughout the world. Multimedia Transcoder distributes all of these camera feeds simultaneously to end users.

    View one or more cameras simultaneously from different networks such as GPRS, UMTS, 802.11, CDMA 1XRTT, EVDO, EVDV and wireline, all at the same time. Each network receives the optimal bit rate and screen size from the Multimedia Transcoder.
