Over 10 Mobile Video and Audio Applications demonstrated at CTIA Wireless



April 24th, 2004 - PacketVideo Network Solutions, Inc., an Alcatel Company, demonstrate more than ten live mobile audio and video demonstrations at CTIA in Altanta. This shows the wide breadth of real business opportunities that are enabled by PacketVideo Network Solutions, Inc. and the maturity of the company's 3GPP compliant technology which has been commercially launched by over 20 operators and mobile media customers worldwide. The CTIA demonstrations include:

Alcatel Alcatel and PacketVideo Network Solutions, Inc. are showing converged fixed and wireless applications including video email sent from the desktop, converted to MMS, and sent to the mobile handset. Alcatel is also showing a complete live streaming product line with analog and 3GPP-compliant cameras streaming to four different mobile phones from Nokia, Siemens and SonyEriccson.

B!Vitaminic BuongiornoVitaminic is to demonstrate the one of the first applications for enjoying streaming music on mobile phones. By downloading the free JukeBox application to handsets and subscribing to the service, a selection of audio tracks and video clips are instantly available to the consumer. The B!V JukeBox application uses pvServer technology to deliver High Quality (AAC) music.

EarthCam Inc.
EarthCam and PacketVideo Network Solutions, Inc. continue their partnership to bring compelling livecam services to mobile devices. EarthCam, the leader in live streaming video webcam software and solutions, and PacketVideo Network Solutions, Inc. are "turning on" scenic cameras with views of New York Times Square, London's Big Ben, Paris' Eiffel Tower, etc. and providing those services as packaged offerings to wireless operators around the world.
